Problem Solving with Root Cause Analysis (2 days)

Problem Solving is the formal process used when dealing with critical product or service (or even process) nonconformances. It provides a structured use of tools and techniques including Root Cause Analysis to ensure that the problem is corrected so that it doesn’t occur again. Use formal Problem Solving to help meet the “Corrective and Preventative Action” requirements of an ISO 9001 based quality management system. This workshop is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of the Problem Solving methodology including Root Cause Analysis. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to identify those nonconformances within the organization that are deemed critical, and will be able to apply the formal Problem Solving process to them, in order to ensure that they do not re-occur. Use this workshop to actually correct critical problems within your organization – the waste avoidance itself will more than cover the cost of the training. Learning materials will be used in conjunction with practical activities and examples. Includes a Certificate of Achievement for each participant. Activities include:
